Uniform

by Administrator

Beaver Scouts wear uniform and are encouraged to take pride in wearing it. Uniform will be at three levels: “Full”, “Normal” and “Rough”.

Full uniform is the clean official turquoise Beaver sweatshirt with all badges sown on correctly, a pressed and rolled necker, neatly pressed navy blue activity trousers or long dark grey trousers, Beaver baseball cap, dark socks and polished black shoes.

Normal uniform is the Beaver poloshirt and the official turquoise sweatshirt if cold, a neatly pressed and rolled necker, any tidy dark trousers (including navy blue activity trousers) or shorts, Beaver baseball cap if wished, socks and black shoes or trainers.

Rough uniform is any suitable clothing for the prescribed conditions that is alright to make dirty!  Occasionally, leaders may specify the wearing of neckers if the activity involves members of other groups or specific footwear if appropriate for the activity.

When you first come to Beaver you do not need to purchase uniform straight way.  You will need to do this once you have been invited to be “Invested”.
