Message from John Pollard (1st Stubbington Group Scout Leader)……..
“Dear Parents,
We shall be attending the annual Stubbington Remembrance Day Parade and Service. Therefore we would like all our Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers to attend. This is one of the only times in the year that we proudly march and parade in our own Community.
Please meet at the Crofton Community Centre Car Park at 1015 am. Full smart uniform is required, ie. freshly pressed and rolled group scarf with woggle, section jumper or shirt, scout trousers or school trousers and clean shoes. Please ensure your child has a poppy affixed to their shirt/sweatshirt etc. Remember that this Service and Parade are completely outside and the weather is often cold so it is a good idea to wear some extra warm clothing under your uniform ie. Vest or T-shirt, additional underwear/shorts and several pairs of socks.
( Coats are not allowed, except in extreme weather conditions).
The Parade will march from the Crofton Community Car Park to the War Memorial in the village centre . After the Service we shall march from the War Memorial back into the Crofton Community Car Park. The parade will be dismissed at approximately 1130am, when parents should collect their sons or daughters from their Section Leader.
Please support our Group, any questions please contact me on 01329 663639 or your Section Leader.”
